We’d love to have you join us on October 7, 2017 in Fredricksburg, Virginia for our wedding.
After my internship, I returned to Virginia Tech at the end of August 2010 and just barely missed Adam, whose first day with the same company was in September. Little did we know, in just a few short months I would accept a full-time position in January 2011 and we would be working on the same project team.
A Growing Friendship
I convinced Adam to try a Bikram Yoga class with me and we ended up really enjoying it. As a result, we signed up for classes and were spending time together several days a week outside of work. We started to build a strong friendship, supporting each other through the different challenges life threw at us.
The First Date
Our first date was at Founding Farmers in Washington, D.C. on August 31, 2013. We had a nice dinner and then walked the streets of DuPont Circle, admiring all the row houses. Adam talked about how nice it would be to live in one of those houses. A year later, we ended up moving to DuPont Circle. Although we have since moved out of the city, we go back to Founding Farmers every year for our anniversary.
One Windy, Fall Day...
On November 13, 2015 Adam planned a date night that ended up at the National War Memorial, where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I feel so incredibily lucky to be able to marry my bestfriend. Thank you to our friends and family for supporting us over the past six years. We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our big day!
